The team:
Based in London, the HR Business Partner is part of our Global HR Consulting function, and our regional EMEA HR Team. The role supports some of our key global and regional leaders, from business units across the EMEA region.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coaches and advises managers (client specific) on key HR priorities related to manager/partner development and engagement efforts as often times set by the Team Lead/Senior HRBP to support business strategy.
  • Plays a key role consulting with managers on talent assessment, career planning, performance management, and compensation planning activities.
  • Leads reduction in force activity for client group and helps managers implement change management support resulting from people impact.
  • Acts as a liaison between the line, Senior HR Business Partners, , HR Advisors and other HR functions to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs.
  • Assesses the need for new HR programs with client groups as necessary and leads implementation.
  • Provides guidance to managers and partners on dispute resolution, disciplinary action including PIPs, regulatory compliance, problem solving and litigation avoidance. Supports the implementation of new programs.
  • Ensures compliance on all HR related company guidelines and policies, as well as compliance with all regional, country, local, and company regulations and participates in ER activities when they arise due to non-compliance.
  • Attends relevant client team meetings to ensure HR actions support key business needs, providing updates on HR initiatives and programs.
  • Maintains a strong awareness of Talent Acquisition activities to help achieve a high quality, diverse talent pipeline.
  • Participates in functional and cross-functional initiatives across HR.
  • Serves as expert or go to person often handling complex, high profile, and sensitive work.

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will hold approximately 10 years’ of HR experience
  • Strong and proactive consulting capability
  • Ability to inform and influence leading with data
  • Domain expertise in HR policy and process
  • Highly collaborative relationship manager
  • Foundational knowledge in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design
  • Effective communicator with the ability to drive consensus and lead change management initiatives
  • Ability to proactively assess risk and take mitigating actions
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
  • Applies best practices and how own area integrates with others
  • Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience;
  • May lead small projects with manageable risks and
  • resource requirements
