Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be instrumental in partnering with leaders across the business, providing strategic advice, support and solutions on people matters to build organisational and leadership capability.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives
  • Partner with business leaders and team members to provide day to day HR/IR advice and interpretation of HR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Coach, support and empower business leaders to appropriately deal with performance, conduct and disciplinary issues, while actively mitigating workplace relations exposure
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including undertaking workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary procedures and attendance at the Fair Work Commission if required.
  • Play a key role in identifying, developing and implementing key People projects and initiatives.
  • Work with business leaders to develop and implement targeted strategies and initiatives focussed on talent management, succession planning and employee engagement.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisory role
  • Experience in ER/IR case management and managing employee grievances and workplace investigations
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, and ability to positively influence stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation, and experience interpreting enterprise agreements and/or awards
  • Well developed time management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities
