JOB SUMMARY

Purple is seeking a flexible and strategic HR professional who will act as a business partner (HRBP) for our Mcdonough, GA facility. He/She will be working Monday-Friday with some flexibility in the schedule. This is a highly visible HR position, supporting a facility focused on keeping up with our growing demand. This individual must be able to work independently and still take a hands-on approach with both the leaders and employees. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities; inherent to supporting end-to-end HR programs across departments. The HRBP is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full life cycle Human Resources support to the production center. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Behavior,Psychology.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive HR experience is required; Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Ability to adjust to a rapid and complex changing work environment
  • Possess accurate and updated knowledge of Federal and State laws applicable to wages, hours, working conditions, safety, etc. to ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirements
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Ability to influence, coach, and partner at all levels of the organization to achieve results
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business to assess human resources needs in areas such as organizational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, performance management, succession planning, and rewards and recognition
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Be responsible for ensuring that appropriate training opportunities are provided to employees to further personal, career, and organizational development
  • Ensure compensation packages are competitive with the local area. Work with compensation & benefits leader and business leaders to provide compensation support
  • Create and drive effective employee relations, retention and reward programs
  • Support business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
  • Coach and mentor frontline and mid-level leaders
  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization
