THE OPPORTUNITY

Shepparton Private Hospital is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team. This exciting opportunity allows you to shape workforce strategies, champion excellence in HR practices, and deliver high-quality generalist HR support. In this role, you’ll provide expert guidance on industrial and employee relations while driving impactful organisational development initiatives. It’s also a chance to make a meaningful difference in rural Victoria. This is a part-time position, offering 20 hours per week across 4 days, with flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Offer expert support and guidance to managers on performance management, complex case handling, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Lead and execute local, state, and national HR projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Deliver training and coaching to strengthen managerial capabilities in HR practices and legislative compliance.
  • Drive cultural transformation and lead organisational development initiatives to enhance workplace effectiveness.
  • Monitor and address workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies to optimise talent management.
  • Provide support in industrial relations, including negotiations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

  • At least 5 years of experience in senior HR or Industrial Relations roles.
  • Relevant qualifications in HRM, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in complex case management, industrial relations, and driving cultural change initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence, coach, and guide stakeholders effectively
