ROLE SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists to join Inspired Online Schools as a HR Business Partner. Inspired Online is a fast growing, fast paced environment. We are looking for a HR Business Partner with experience of managing UK and International HR processes (APAC and USA). Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for all day to day Human Resources Business Partner activities.
Based in the UK, the job holder will be supporting our key stakeholders with our proposition to establish an “online school” in the USA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, providing advice and support on a range of HR issues
- Develop and manage relationships with third party providers to ensure all managed processes are compliant with USA law, e.g. contracts of employment, policies, pre-screening checks etc
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Principal (USA) to ensure current and future resourcing plans are implemented timely and are compliant with USA law
THE JOB HOLDER WILL ALSO BE EXPERIENCED IN MANAGING UK AND APAC PROCESSES. THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to managers on a range of HR and employee relations issues
- Manage a range of complex HR and employee relations issues, as well as escalated cases
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation
- Lead business wide HR projects and initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
- Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
- Coordinate and support talent mapping and succession planning processes
- Drive Staff engagement initiatives
- 3rd party engagement as required with both UK, APAC and USA employment lawyers, service providers, occupational health and HR systems support
- Support monthly payroll processes
- Support and coordinate annual salary review processes
