Description:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Significant and demonstrable experience in blue-collar employee relations across a regional or national portfolio, with full remit of issues.
- Significant and demonstrable experience of TUPE
- Significant and demonstrable experience of training design and delivery to blue-collar management.
- Demonstrable impact of project delivery to improve HR metrics (e.g. turnover, absence)
- Prior experience within a global matrix organisation preferred
- Prior experience partnering a leadership team essential.
- CIPD level 7 (MCIPD desirable).

Responsibilities:
- Project Lead on projects pertaining to the strategic aims of the business unit.
- Identify and execute remedial plans for ineffective or inefficient HR or management processes or in areas which require troubleshooting.
- Investigate and solution new ideas to common people or management related problems.
- Work closely with the Operations Director and his senior team, providing advice and counsel on talent, organisational design and development.
- Own the talent and succession plan and annual cycle within the sector.
- Execute the requirements of the employee lifecycle as pertains to the sector.
- Collate monthly remuneration committee recommendations.
- Monitor and report on monthly HR metrics, giving insight and visibility to the business leadership team.
- Advise on the full remit of employee relations issues and processes with a practical and commercial approach, minimising risks and liabilities.
- Create and conduct HR related training and development.
- Support HR Shared Services administrators in the facilitation of monthly payroll administration and matters arising from the business unit.
- Any other operational HR matter specific to the sector, as arises.
