POSITION DESCRIPTION

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will have the primary focus of providing operational and strategic consultative support to leaders and their teams on people strategies that are aligned with business objectives. As a trusted advisor, leaders call on you to think through their most complex and strategic talent challenges. Responsibilities:
- Support the operational and strategic objectives of the Hospital through the provision of best-practice human resource advice.
- Provide guidance, advisory and consultative services to assigned portfolio, supporting decision-making with advice/solutions crafted to meet current and future business needs. Prioritize understanding portfolio¿s business and needs in order to provide the best strategic guidance and partnership.
- Assist in aligning human resource strategy with business priorities to drive results.
- Provide active coaching, program/policy support, education, issues management, solution-based problem solving and strategy development support.
- Engage in projects and other macro-level organizational initiatives in addition to providing direct consultative support in areas such as: employee/labour relations; resource and workforce planning; change management; attrition/retention; compensation and benefits; performance management; conflict investigation and resolution; employment terminations; organizational and job design; restructuring and health and absence management
