Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with technology leaders to understand business goals and challenges.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, providing insights and solutions.
  • Timely, fair, well communicated and accurate roll - out of performance management, calibrations, reward planning, benchmarking, promotion, recognition, work-force planning and other processes covering tech function
  • Accurate and timely employee life-cycle management throughout the year including timely and accurate documentation.
  • Overall accountability for measuring and enhancing engagement and wellbeing, attrition etc from an HR perspective
  • Develop and implement Group HR initiatives for tech function

Talent Management

  • Manage performance review processes and support managers in developing high-performing teams.
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team to attract top technology talent and to drive diversity
  • Work closely with the tech learning team to develop development programs including training and career progression for the tech function
  • Retention of key talent through growth and development initiatives (facilitating and managing secondments, projects, transfers etc) and developing a view of talent in the function across the group

Employee Relations

  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Independent management of all Employee Relations issues in relevant functions in line with legal frameworks and company polices

Organizational Development/Tech Function Transformation

  • Support organizational change initiatives and cultural transformation.
  • Facilitate workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Support the transformation of the technology function in the building/set up of Global Tech Product Teams by working closely with Group Tech, Business units CITOs, and CHROs to gain support and resources for transformation initiatives
  • Work closely with the tech team on the design/construct of cross functional teams aligning to Group business functions
  • Work closely with cross-functional team i.e. legal/risk to ensure that the operating model of Global Tech Product Team complies with local regulations
  • Manage the implementation of the operating model of the Global Tech Product team for the people workstream
  • Review and work closely with the business unit HR teams on the employee life cycle processes and identify the changes in processes or R&Rs based on the operating model of the Global Tech Product team
  • Address the HR challenges of managing product development in a global context and provide solutions to address the challenges
  • Facilitate the adoption of processes and ways of working to support the transformation Partner with leadership to design and implement change management strategies relating to the people workstream for the setup of the Global Tech Product Team

Compensation and Benefits

  • Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to ensure competitive and fair practices.
  • Provide guidance on salary benchmarking, promotions, and job evaluations.
  • Responsible for the year end salary review cycle; To work closely with the managers on the calibration, promotions in line with the reward guidelines and budget

HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to leadership on key HR indicators and trends.
  • Monitor and analyze workforce trends to anticipate and address potential issues.
