Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The HR Business Partner will strategically partner with business units to support the achievement of group objectives by providing an effective and efficient HR service delivery, providing coaching and support when required.
The purpose of the role is to attract, retain and develop high calibre people, supporting the team on innovative people strategies and upskilling the Managers to be confident in their people management skills. Ensuring all matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice and legislative requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver a consistent, knowledgeable and professional service, providing guidance and support to managers on the effective management of key employee issues, including business change, resourcing and development of staff, inclusion diversity grievance and disciplinary etc.
  • Taking an active part in HR processes including attendance, capability and disciplinary meetings as appropriate, advising management in line with Company best practice.
  • Leading and supporting on projects to support the development of Group initiatives.
  • Utilise our HR software system to develop our reporting.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure these remain compliant with best practice and legislation.
  • Support the development of business unit managers to empower them to excel in people management.
  • Support the wider team to develop a successful and competitive recruitment and onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Support and deliver key HR training programmes throughout the business units.
  • Support the delivery of the performance management system to help align employees with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Any other duties to support the needs of the business.
