The Human Resources Business Partner will be a strategic partner to all business units to provide HR counsel and support. This person will demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge and experience of HR practices though day to day HR activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach/advise managers in appropriate management best practices, i.e., performance management, discipline, terminations, reward and recognition, and retention strategies.
  • Advises and coaches management in appropriate resolution of complex employee relations issues.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Informs employees on benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Partners with HR management to improve processes to improve internal customer experience.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of people, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Delivers pre-determined training to ensure compliance with federal and local guidelines.
  • Support on a variety of HR initiatives.
