Join Our Team as an HR Coordinator!
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a dynamic opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking an HR Coordinator for a 3 to 6-month assignment at our i54 Manufacturing Site to provide essential HR support, ensuring efficiency in operations, compliance with policies, and employee well-being.
What You’ll Be Doing

Time & Attendance (T&A) Management

  • Oversee the T&A system (Tensor), ensuring accurate tracking of shifts, hours, and overtime.
  • Generate reports to highlight attendance trends and ensure compliance with working time regulations.
  • Work with managers to resolve discrepancies and support payroll processing.

Onboarding & Induction

  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience and conduct HR inductions.
  • Ensure employees understand policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
  • Introduce new joiners to our Blueprint Behaviours in an engaging way.
  • Support employees through their first 12 weeks, ensuring they receive the necessary training.

Sickness & Absence Management

  • Maintain accurate absence records and update HR systems (Tensor & Workday).
  • Monitor trends and support the HR Business Partner in managing attendance.
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews with supervisors and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Coordinate occupational health referrals when needed.

Employee Communication & Engagement

  • Maintain communication boards and assist in organising monthly Town Hall meetings.
  • Support managers in conducting listening sessions.
  • Promote employee engagement through the Your Voice Matters survey.

General HR Support

  • Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers.
  • Attend daily 8:30 am GEMBA walks to provide HR updates.
  • Maintain compliant and up-to-date HR records.
  • Assist with HR reporting, compliance audits, and engagement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • HR administrative experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of T&A systems, onboarding, and absence management.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Understanding of UK employment law and GDPR compliance.

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it).
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
