Overview:
UiPath is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic People Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations and overseeing the global background check and referral verification processes, as well as other processes as requested, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the globe to ensure smooth execution of background check processes, while maintaining consistency and accuracy in the compliance procedures.

What you’ll do at UiPath:

  • Oversee and execute the end-to-end background check process, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations
  • Partner with third-party background check providers to manage workflows, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of checks
  • Ensure all candidates’ documentation and screening results are accurate and in compliance with country-specific legal requirements
  • Manage the employee referral program, ensuring referred candidates meet internal and external legal standards
  • Conduct due diligence on referrals, verifying the authenticity and integrity of the referral information
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams globally to align referral background check practices with hiring processes
  • Continuously review and improve global processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Ensure all documentation, workflows, and procedures are up to date and standardized across regions
  • Conduct regular audits of global processes to identify and address areas of non-compliance and suggest remedy plans
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports on compliance, status, and risks to leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 4+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Experience with stakeholder management, negotiating and influencing to deliver on the roles’ objectives
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. Ability to take complicated information and craft into a consumable format
  • Significant functional experience with cloud-based HR tools; Workday experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand the employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are a must
  • Process and solution oriented
  • Self-driven with good organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset
