Description:
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We are keen to speak with HR professionals with demonstrated experience in the following:
- Effective consulting, diagnosis, inquiry, and facilitation skills to accurately scope work, assess resources required, contract the right team, and facilitate defined interventions.
- Ability to engage and influence business or function stakeholders.
- Project management capability to selectively deploy a range of project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to support the use of organisation change management methodologies and associated tools.
- Effective use of data and trend analysis to determine root cause, and to define and track relevant business outcomes.
- Ability to deliver through others and effectively coach cross-functional, virtual teams.
- Background in HR business partnering fundamentals.
- Experience within Mining or Oil & Gas would be an advantage.
This role is a 12-month position, contracting through our contracting partner.
Responsibilities:
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
The main objective of the HR Function is to deliver value to Shell and its integral Businesses and Functions, by developing and executing people strategies in direct support of the Group Strategy.
The HR Consultant is a key HR partner enabling the delivery of Shell’s ambitions to lead and thrive in the Energy Transition by supporting Shell businesses in Australia. HR Consultants are a resource within the HR function who are flexibly deployed on projects with the highest business priority and value add.
In this role you will work closely to support the HR Manager for Prelude & Crux, along with the business and leaders, to manage and integrate a breadth of functional HR disciplines providing meaningful solutions. To deliver this you effectively use project management, change management, integrative leadership, and consulting skills.
PURPOSE:
- Define, design and lead implementation of projects and interventions to deliver the People Agenda in support of the country business agenda.
- Design, develop and execute targeted interventions, solutions, or programs that align with people agenda.
- Co-ordinate or execute projects and change initiatives to drive organisational capability.
- Support the west coast assets with strong business partnering to the leaders and HR Manager.
