Are you interested in working in an environment where your expertise in employee relations can make a real difference? Specsavers is looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team and support over 1000 Optical and Hearing businesses across the UK and ROI for a 6 month fixed term contract. We actually have two positions available one is full time hours, the others up to 15 hours per week, because of this we are open to options around working hours. This can be a work from home role if you wish, we also have three fantastic support office locations in Fareham, Nottingham and Guernsey.

As part of our HR Advice Line, you will provide essential ER advice and guidance to our stores, helping them navigate people management challenges and achieve their business objectives. Level 5 CIPD or Chartered Member CIPD is desirable but not essential especially if you have experience working with SME businesses.
In this role, you will act as an internal consultant to our store Partners and their management teams, offering best practice advice on a wide range of people issues which is why it would be great if you have experience working with SME businesses. You will provide commercially focused guidance on disciplinary and grievance matters, performance issues, attendance, maternity & paternity, well-being, equality and inclusion, business change, and contractual matters. Maintain comprehensive records on our case management system and ensure service level agreements are met, also developing support materials, contribute to HR projects, and support the delivery of bespoke training in all areas of people management.
If you have a proven track record in dealing with employee relations issues, in-depth knowledge of employment legislation, and strong advisory, influencing, and coaching skills, we want to hear from you! #Li-JW1
