JOB SUMMARY:
Amazing Care Home Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator. As the HR Coordinator, your primary responsibility will facilitate the new hire process to include orientation and onboarding (virtually) across multiple states. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our new employees have a smooth and positive transition into our organization. This position requires excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred).
- Previous experience in HR coordination, onboarding, or related administrative roles is strongly desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Possess a customer service orientation; Ensure a positive experience for new employees, treating them as valued customers
- Ability to build positive relationships with new hires, making them feel welcome, and addressing their concerns with empathy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate new hire orientation sessions and other HR events as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct new hire orientations, providing comprehensive information on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Coordinate and schedule onboarding activities, including paperwork completion, training sessions, and team introductions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, answering their questions and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process.
- Be comfortable and confident engaging with candidates via phone, text, email, and virtual calls to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to develop and maintain effective onboarding plans for each position.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, and tax forms, is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain employee records, including personal information, employment documentation, and training records.
- Assist with the coordination of background checks and other pre-employment screening processes.
- Provide Tier 1 support for incoming requests from employees and managers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits, or escalating to appropriate team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
