Position Summary: Serve as the face of Human Resources for all initial concerns at the assigned plant. Provide administrative support for the TMX initiatives. Advance special TMX projects as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for E-Verify of new hires and any E-Verify cases.
- Collaborates with Managers and Payroll Coordinator to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes. Makes updates as necessary
- Researches and resolves questions from Team Members as they relate to the benefits and policy administration.
- Assist with the creation of company policies, procedures, job descriptions, and other documentation for the TMX program
- Screen policies and practices to ensure that we comply with federal and state laws.
- Serve as a key participant in the advancement of special TMX projects such as wellness programs, etc.
- Serve as a back-up to the Payroll Coordinator
- Leave of Absence administration
- Take part in orientation of new team members in regards to policy and benefits
- Recruiting via social media and other sources, conducting phone screens and schedule interviews
- Responsible for benefits enrollment of new Team Members and Annual Open Enrollment
- Collaborates with TMX Manager in regards of all employment disputes and complaints from team members.
- Other duties as assigned
