Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates day-to-day Human Resources activities and processes. This position’s focus is on providing comprehensive HR support, directly or indirectly to Team Members, while effectively using a continuous improvement mentality and working to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions. This role is required to work a flexible schedule, on-site, to include Saturdays as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a Human Resources capacity strongly preferred.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field and/or HR credential preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or food processing background preferred.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in an office setting at a steady work pace.
- Superb organizational & time management skills.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving & conflict management skills
- Ability to accurately follow instructions & work independently.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, utilized in a timely manner.
- Have an ability to maintain good relationships with others through effective communication.
- Must possess common sense and sound judgment.
- Ability to professionally navigate stressful personnel situations with a clear head.
- Flexible and adaptable to organizational needs.
- Ability to respect and comply with confidentiality requirements.
- Bilingual Spanish or Swahili preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Promote fair treatment and positive employee relations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.
- Support interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide day-to-day HR customer service to all facility employees, including researching and resolving questions or issues.
- Responsible for coaching and assisting supervisors with hourly employee issues and concerns.
- Support management with the corrective action process as needed.
- Maintain HRIS data by entering new hire information and maintaining employee records.
- Responsible for the I-9 and E-Verify process for all new hires.
- Complete employment verifications and unemployment requests as needed.
- Maintain all confidential HR filing systems and remain current in both paper and digital formats.
- Verify and process required paperwork for changes in employment status for hourly employees.
- Prepare required reports such as attendance, new hire orientation, and turnover.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective employee related investigations as necessary.
- Complete termination paperwork, exit interviews, and associated data entry as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
