WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to join our growing HR function. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of HR processes, from employee onboarding to benefits administration and recruitment efforts. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing employee experience, promoting company culture, and contributing to the development of HR initiatives that align with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU BRING:
- Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment, or people operations; you may be early in your career but come prepared to learn and grow!
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; we are a fast-paced environment in a high-volume industry. You have hustle and determination to get things done!
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will interact with a lot of internal and external stakeholders, so come ready to converse.
- Knowledge of HR tools such as ADP, ATS systems, and SharePoint is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting employee engagement and growth.
- Our business is very fast moving, and our team is responsive and readily adapts to new challenges. You are adaptable but a sharp study who can thrive in a culture of change but applies their learnings and experience as we grow.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
- Benefits Administration: Administer SunLife benefits and contribute to enhancing the employee experience through ongoing programs and onboarding.
- Employee Records Maintenance: Help maintain and update employee records in ADP, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while supporting the company’s adoption of this tool and participating in payroll procedures.
- Employee Engagement & Wellness Programs: Assist in organizing and promoting employee engagement, cultural, and wellness initiatives to support a positive work environment.
- HR Policies & Procedures: Provide support in developing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed to ensure alignment with company values and legal requirements.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews (both in-person and virtual), providing support throughout the interview process to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
