JOB SUMMARY

Now, if you were to come on board as our Human Resources Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Coordinate and provide administrative support on all HR issues including, but not limited to, recruitment, HR orientation, training, employee and labour relations, and performance management
  • Work closely with Payroll and Benefits department to address any benefits and compensation issues
  • Assist our Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Assurance departments in ensuring units and associates adhere to the Company policies, as well as the Health & Safety and Quality Assurance provisions
  • Provide support for Pay Equity and the Employee Equity Program
  • Support the opening of new units by meeting with new Associates, explaining benefits and policies, and helping to complete all new hire paperwork

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation in Employment Standards, Human Rights Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Readily adaptable to changing work priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible for occasional local travel as needed
