Description:

JOB TITLE: HR COORDINATOR

Overview: We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support the HR department with the onboarding process, compliance management, and day-to-day HR functions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that employee records are accurately maintained, new hires are properly onboarded, and all HR operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. The HR Coordinator will collaborate with management and employees to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including but not limited to FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA.
  • Proven experience in an HR support or coordinator role, with a focus on compliance and onboarding.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HR management systems is a plus.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Compliance:
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring completion of all necessary documentation and compliance requirements using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, job history, and documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations, including FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA.
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees, ensuring they receive the proper introduction to company policies and culture.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits enrollment and ensure all necessary forms and documents are completed and stored accurately.
  • HR Administration & Support:
  • Perform general HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee databases, updating records, and ensuring the accuracy of information in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Provide support to employees and managers on HR-related inquiries, policies, and processes.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and help resolve HR-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help ensure consistent communication between the HR team and employees regarding policies, procedures, and any changes within the company.
  • Assist in managing time-off requests and maintaining attendance records in accordance with company policies.
  • Day-to-Day HR Operations:
  • Support the HR team with employee performance tracking and administration of performance review processes.
  • Help track training and development opportunities and ensure employees are meeting compliance training requirements.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are consistently followed and assist with updating and improving policies as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining employee files in accordance with legal requirements and confidentiality standards.
  • General HR Support:
  • Work with the HR team to maintain a positive and productive work environment, helping with employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address HR needs and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
