Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
Human Resources
- Assists with all administrative functions of the department,
- Other Administrative duties including compiling employee training manuals and materials, updating employee information/bulletin boards, ordering of office supplies.
- Employee Lockers and Parking Card Control Tracking
- Assist with the coordination of employee events and celebrations.
- Assist in all aspects of Recruitment, On boarding and Orientation, Training and Terminations
- Participates in the Joint Health & Safety Committee to help minimize potential liabilities; administrates & distributes monthly meeting minutes; maintains up-to-date H&S Information
Payroll
- Ensures that all bi-weekly payroll adjustments are processed accurately including employee vacations, statutory holidays, company holidays, wellness days, overtime, wage increases, etc.
- Audits payroll on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of data and corrects errors.
- Maintains Employee database
Benefits
- Assist with member enrolment / termination / changes for Group Insurance and Company RRSP programs.
- Assist with disability management

- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS THIS ROLE?
- A Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma is required, with a Human Resources Diploma/Certification and/or Payroll Certification considered an asset.
- Previous hospitality and/or payroll experience an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and math skills.
- Knowledge of governmental legislation.
- Confidentiality and discretion required.
- This role may require availability during weekends, nights, and holidays and will involve working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
