Join our small but dynamic HR team as a generalist to support dedicated business areas across the UK, Ireland & Australia. This role supports the day-to-day HR operational needs throughout the employee lifecycle. This will include administrative and project support to key areas in the business and to the HR Manager.
This position is being offered up to 12-month fixed term contract, working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. The option to work hybrid is available, with a minimum of 3 days in the office required, after successfully passing probation.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 + years generalist HR experience
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS
· Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
· Level 3 CIPD or equivalent is desirable
Responsibilities:
· Support dedicated business areas by coordinating all recruitment administration, including assisting managers with adverts and job descriptions; processing applications; scheduling and attending interviews.
· Work closely with the marketing team to send out companywide announcements.
· Carry out employee Right to Work checks ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
· Complete incoming and outgoing reference checks.
· Coordinate inductions across the business and lead on HR inductions.
· Arrange new starter photographs for Entry Passes.
· Assign relevant training to new starters via our compliance and training platforms.
· Hold check-in meetings with new starters.
· Maintain and update the onboarding pack with any company updates.
· Coordinate graduate and work experience placements.
· Issue all contractual documentation and change of terms.
· Maintain and update all files with employee information, including e-files and HRIS.
· Coordinate the Employee Leaver process liaising with necessary parties, i.e., IT and Payroll.
· Working with dedicated business areas to coordinate employee training needs and arrange training courses.
· Coordinate Wellbeing initiatives across the business.
· Responsible for promoting the employee benefits programme.
· Support the HR Manager and HR Advisor with Employee Relations processes such as, but not limited to, Absence Management, Disciplinary, Grievance, Redundancy.
· Monitor the LMS platform to ensure employees are continuing with their CPD.
· Advise all insurance providers of starters and leavers monthly.
· With the HR Team continue to support the ongoing growth of key change areas for the organisation including diversity, equality and inclusion, health and wellbeing and staff engagement.
· Assist the HR Manager as and when business needs dictate.
· Assist with any ad-hoc additional responsibilities and general tasks as required by the business.
