QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of payroll systems and HR practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

JOB DESCRIPTION: HR COORDINATOR (WITH PAYROLL RESPONSIBILITIES) (HYBRID ROLE, 1 DAY / WEEK IN OFFICE)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Position Type: Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the HRIS and Payroll Systems.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training.
  • Coordinate probationary and annual review activities and meetings
  • Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll in a timely manner and professional manner.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and leave programs.
  • Organize company events, activities, and recognition programs.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
