QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of payroll systems and HR practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
JOB DESCRIPTION: HR COORDINATOR (WITH PAYROLL RESPONSIBILITIES) (HYBRID ROLE, 1 DAY / WEEK IN OFFICE)
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Position Type: Full-Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the HRIS and Payroll Systems.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training.
- Coordinate probationary and annual review activities and meetings
- Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll in a timely manner and professional manner.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and leave programs.
- Organize company events, activities, and recognition programs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
