POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION: HR Coordinator Recruitment & Hiring
REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Direct Services

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the program leadership and supervision of the Assistant Director of Direct Services, responsible for recruitment and hiring for all E Center Programs according to established guidelines and sound administrative practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree required in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources Management or related field; with a minimum 2 years experience in staffing recruitment and or 5 years in Human Resources performing similar functions to recruitment.
  • Bilingual, bi-literate, English/Spanish, English/Punjabi, English/Hmong, and/or other language ability based on program needs required.
  • E Center requires State regulations require a physical examination, current tuberculosis test, and verified fingerprint and criminal record clearance before beginning work.
  • Possession of a valid driver license; current personal vehicle insurance or safe driving record sufficient to ensure insurability through Agency policy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of parents, employees of the organization and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to understand and use a variety of computer applications and appropriate software, spreadsheets and word processing, such as Microsoft Office and workplace electronic technology, including internet access and e-mail.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
