SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiting Specialist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for employees within the organization. This HR Specialist will handle all aspects of the recruitment process (both internal and external) for the site. This includes both finding candidates in our manufacturing and admin/support positions as well as hiring for very niche roles. Additionally, the HR Specialist facilitates and assists with the planning and implementation of interviews, onboarding, and hiring activities, including potentially participating in or conducting interviews, reference and employment verifications, and scheduling of key events. This role also provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Recruiting experience in manufacturing or high-volume recruitment preferred
  • PHR or SHRM CP preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Posts all jobs both internal and external through the applicant tracking system/job boards
  • Is the SME in all aspects of the hiring/selection process including the applicant tracking system for the SCA Pharma team.
  • Use both passive and active sourcing techniques to find hard-to-fill positions.
  • Coordinate and lead recruitment fairs through local universities and trade organizations
  • Work alongside hiring managers to gauge hiring needs, position requirements, etc.
  • Schedule and conduct phone screens/on-site interviews for screening and recommendation purposes as well as scheduling interviews for hiring teams
  • Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate setting up drug screen/background checks and orientation for new team members.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeps and proper deductions
  • Administers benefit plan information to employees, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Tracks, administers, and reports out on the KPI metrics for the HR team
