Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in Playa Vista. As a crucial member of our team, the HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our operations, particularly in new location openings. Responsibilities include handling new hire orientations, processing employee paperwork, assisting with payroll and timesheet changes, and providing guidance to employees. This position requires an individual who can effectively interact with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the opening of new locations by assisting in HR-related tasks
  • Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Process employee paperwork and maintain accurate employment records
  • Assist with payroll activities and handle timesheet changes as necessary
  • Guide employees towards appropriate resources for their inquiries
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure efficient workflow
  • Handle the procurement of materials and swag for new hires
  • Use HR software such as ADP and Ceridian for various HR tasks
  • Conduct background checks for potential employees
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and across department
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
  • Knowledge of About Time software
  • Proficiency in conducting Auditing and Background Checks
  • Ability to handle Benefit Functions
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Experience in HR Coordination or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various departments and employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
