DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team, reporting directly to the General Manager of People and Culture. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organisational legislative compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar HR role, with a good understanding of Australian employment legislation and general compliance requirements.
Good knowledge of HR functions and best practices, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS administration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
HR qualifications or certifications (e.g., Diploma/Degree in HR Management, AHRI membership) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

As our HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager of People and Culture in various HR functions, with a strong emphasis on legislative compliance. You will assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with Australian laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Managing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian employment laws, including Fair Work Act, and anti-discrimination legislation.
Ownership of internal and external audit processes
Supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, and performance management processes in alignment with company policies and legal requirements
Administering HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.
Providing timely and accurate HR reporting to support decision-making processes.
