JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Coordinating new hire orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Providing support to new employees during the onboarding process.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assisting in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conducting periodic audits to ensure HR practices are in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred HR Certification
  • 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize and multitask
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient in ADP or other HRIS software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed while sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
