JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Coordinating new hire orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Providing support to new employees during the onboarding process.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Assisting in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conducting periodic audits to ensure HR practices are in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred HR Certification
- 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to prioritize and multitask
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in ADP or other HRIS software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed while sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
