HR Data Analyst
Salary: Grade 12 (£47,040 - £49,083)
Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) – 36 hours per week

Are you an experienced and forward-thinking HR Data Analyst? We invite you to be a part of our dynamic HR Operations Team as we embark on an exciting transformation of our Oracle Cloud system. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our workforce planning and reporting capabilities by identifying and managing data to drive improvements across the council.

Essential Requirements for the role:

  • Data Presentation: Ability to interpret and present accurate data meaningfully to various stakeholders.
  • Database Management: Proven ability to manage data within a corporate HR/Payroll database, including best practices for usage and design.
  • Operational Modeling: Ability to apply and model concepts at the operational level, incorporating user and compliance requirements in business systems development and enhancement.
  • Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work in a team and communicate with all levels within and external to the Division.
  • Consultancy Services: Ability to provide consultancy services to all levels of the Council.Project Management: Ability to contribute to complex projects to achieve outcomes within specified timeframes and resource constraints.
  • Process Design: Experience in process design and re-engineering, including process mapping using Microsoft Visio.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Oracle Cloud or equivalent systems, and business analysis query and reporting software (e.g., SAP’s Business Objects or Oracle’s Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition).
