Description:
We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a HR Director - Europe within our HR team to help support our Automotive business. Did you know we are the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of seating support and comfort systems for transportation manufacturers, as well as tier one and two suppliers within the automotive industry? That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a HR Director - Europe, you will contribute to attainment of business and operating objectives through effective implementation and execution of employment activities and human capital management procedures consistent with LPA and L&P inc policy.
As HR Director - Europe, you will:
- Advise LPA management on organization development, staffing and succession planning. Drive related activity per approved plan.
- Advise LPA management on relavent statutory requirements pertaining to employment. Maintain full statutory compliance.
- Maintain “talent pipeline” consistent with operating needs.
- Oversee total compensation programs including wage & salary, incentive plans, group benefits and retirement programs.
- Develop and oversee employee relations and labor relations programs to ensure workforce stability.
- Develop and oversee Human Resource budgets consistent with strategic plan. Contribute to Global Financial Planning Process by reviewing and analyzing regional salary headcount & cost data.
- Coach, guide and provide mentoring leadership to direct and indirect team members.
- Drive continuous improvement within HR activity.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- University grad -Master Degree. Professional HR designation. Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Mimimum 10 years progressive HR management experience at 2 or more manufacturing facilities.
- Collective bargaining leadership, Communication skills, Coaching mentoring and leadership skills
- Planning & project management skills
- Statutory provisions pertaining to employment
- Knowledge of organizational development
- Transformational and change management skills
