The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate People Lead (HR Director) to join us at QVC Germany. You will be part of an exciting, unique business as you’ll join the largest player in video commerce ("vCommerce"), which includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms.
Reporting into the Vice President for People in our international markets (Germany, UK, Japan, Italy and Poland), you will manage, coach and develop the German people teams (in total 45 team members) in Düsseldorf, Hückelhoven and Kassel.

Your Impact
- Managing, coaching and developing the German HR teams in Düsseldorf, Hückelhoven and Kassel (in total 45 team members, who perform all HR related tasks for our >2500 employees in Germany).
- Developing the HR strategy in line with the corporate strategy.
- Advising the executive team on strategic business issues and all labour law matters.
- Active and constructive cooperation with the works council.
- Ensuring compliance with all co-determination rights and legal requirements.
- Supporting strategic initiatives such as organisational development, change management and performance management.
- Ensuring an efficient HR organisation and it´s processes.
- Responsibility for planning, managing and monitoring the HR budget.
- Working closely with the HR Directors of the other QVC international subsidiaries.
- Promoting an inclusive corporate culture and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
What You Bring
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Law or equivalent.
- Several years of professional experience in a leading HR generalist role, preferably in an international matrix organisation.
- Profound knowledge of German labour and works constitution law.
- Ability to competently handle legal issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to analyse and interpret HR data to support continuous improvement.
- Understanding of current HR trends and their impact on business strategies.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
