Description:

Objective:
The HR Director will lead a team of HR professionals to manage talent acquisition, benefits and compensation packages, employee engagement, culture improvement initiatives, and employee relations. This role will be responsible for aligning internal processes with the company objectives while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Eight (8) years of progressive HR experience with a minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • SHRM or PHR certification
  • Prior experience with a multi-state, multi-location company.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and coaching skills to build effective relationships across the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English/Spanish bilingual a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in developing strategies for workforce, performance management, talent development, and compensation planning.
  • Review and advise on current operating guidelines, procedures, and parameters to ensure practical application with company goals.
  • Champion the development of an employer of choice brandto aid inattracting and retaining talent.
  • Designrecruitment policies and proceduresto drive company core values and attract top talent.
  • Create and implement aperformance managementand succession planning framework.
  • Create and implement training and development initiatives capturing critical skills for the business.
  • Keep abreast of industry technology and make appropriate recommendations
  • Prepare executive level reports related to human resource management & strategies.
  • Develop and maintain annual department budget and ensure monthly expense compliance.
  • Act as liaison with legal department for all human resources related issues.
  • Partner with Finance to identify the most beneficial & cost-effective health and wellness employee benefits programs.
  • Develop, promote, and manage company cultural programs, championing our Core Values & Mission Statement.
  • Develop & manage a competitive compensation strategy.
  • Must be able to proactively build positive relationships inside and outside the organization to support the business.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and safety.
  • Manage and facilitate third party regulatory and customer CSR audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
