Description:
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Director at our client’s manufacturing facility located in McMinnville, Oregon. The HR Director will take charge of the department, leading the team to expand operations and address challenges such as building the employee brand, onboarding and talent management. This is an ONSITE position and the contract duration is expected to be 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership for the HR department, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment
- Oversee the expansion of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient hiring processes
- Develop and implement strategies for building the employee brand
- Manage and improve onboarding processes for new hires
- Direct talent management initiatives, including recruitment, training, and development
- Address labor constraints, implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and Recruiter to ensure HR strategies align with company goals
- Utilize skills in Employee Relations, Full Cycle Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Structure to drive HR initiatives
- Monitor and address any challenges or issues within the department, implementing effective solutions.
- Proven experience in a similar role such as HR Director or Senior HR Manager
- Extensive knowledge of HR functions including Employee Relations, Full Cycle Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Structure
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using HR software and databases
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM) is a plus
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
