We are looking for a ‘can do’ personality with a strong strategic understanding, tactical smartness and operational savviness. A charismatic person who is keen to drive positive change and show what’s next upon a solid business acumen. In practice this means:

  • Fully rounded HR profile and state-of-art methodological know-how.
  • Ability to connect who & what is required in order to drive continuous improvement and change.
  • Enhanced skills in leading humans, directly as much as indirectly or even upwards.
  • Proven expertise in successfully navigating within a multi-national and -dimensional matrix.
  • Successful track record of building and maintaining a trusted and value-adding relationship with the business and stakeholders.
  • Track record of initiating and managing both country-wide and Group-wide projects.
  • Solid operational background; you mastered an operational HR-process improvement initiative.
  • Passioned in reaching leading edge HR concept within an international peer group.
  • Masters Degree level in HR, Business Administration or a relevant area and at least 15 years working experience in HR of which 5 to 10 years in (matrix) leadership within international companies.
  • Capable to negotiate in English and Romanian language. French is a nice plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead a country-wide HR strategy aligned with Worldline’s global priorities, group strategy for Romania, local management and local employment legislation.
  • Design and roll-out HR action plans in line with group HR guidelines.
  • Lead and drive the Romanian HR Team based on Worldline’s vision, partnering with global and local HR centers of expertise.
  • Provide strategy and guidance to HR professionals in the country.
  • Strategize and drive the activity of Romanian HRPBs, notably secure adequate and long-lasting skills improvement up to industry and country standards.
  • Monitor and foster engagement, motivation and development of local HR professionals in a proactive manner.
  • Lead and drive partnership with international and local leaders to drive a complete and professional HR service, building upon a proactive relationship with managers and individual contributors.
  • Design a country-wide employee relations strategy in coordination with Worldline’s global employee relations teams, and deliver this strategy through the full accountability for legal HR compliance and management of employee relations (Works Council) for Romania.
  • Steer and drive workplace investigations (including disciplinary actions), as well as termination procedures.
  • Lead and drive the regular review and roll out of Romanian HR policies, employment policies and procedures, notably the Internal Regulations, in compliance to Worldline’s standards and evolving national labor law and in a continuous improvement approach.
  • Design and sponsor a KPI-driven approach to HR in the country: identify trends and secure HR policies and processes are aligned with this strategy in a continuous improvement approach.
  • Steer and drive for Romania HR topics such as organizational and business unit efficiency, workforce planning, employee lifecycle, reward management, with a focus on attrition and employee engagement.
  • Facilitate organizational planning processes and development of key employees and talents in the country. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and take relevant actions to improve such effectiveness where necessary.
  • Strategize and deliver local people synergy plans where relevant, and secure most adequate resource allocation for the identified needs.
  • Design strategies for efficient use of workforce and oversee their implementation.
  • Drive the employer’s branding strategy both internally and externally in close cooperation with Talent Acquisition.
  • Steer the country’s HR budget.
  • Build and secure a very high internal customer satisfaction for the Romanian HR team.
  • Together with the Romanian management, thrive and nurture a positive working environment within the Romanian staff & office.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned depending on necessities.
