Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Work closely with Recruiting Coordinator and hiring managers to ensure that all job listings are current and accurate.
- Assist candidates with the application and pre-employment process.
- Schedule job interviews, working with hiring managers and applicants to ensure mutually agreeable arrangements.
- Evaluate job candidates utilizing a variety of methods (e.g. reference checks, credential evaluations, background checks, drug and alcohol testing, etc.).
- Perform drug and alcohol collections and testing as dictated by company policy.
- Extend employment offers to selected candidates.
- Communicate rejection to candidates who are not selected for employment.
- Ensure compliance with Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel employment policies, including equal opportunity, drugs and alcohol, Native American preference, immigration, compact and reemployment.
- Accurately and efficiently enter all applicable candidate information into Paycom.
- Ensure all required forms and documents are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist employees with employment-related concerns and Paycom issues.
- Provide employment reports to the Director of Human Resources in a timely manner.
- Crosstrain with, and provide backup support to, the Recruiting and Training Coordinators.
- Work closely with all Human Resources staff members to ensure an accurate and efficient workflow.
- Assist with managing and tracking uniform inventory and distribution.
- Assist with planning, preparing and executing employee events.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Business experience required, ideally in Human Resources.
- Experience in employment strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

- Highly professional and tactful.

- Desire to promote the Lower Sioux Indian Community and its members.
