Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with Recruiting Coordinator and hiring managers to ensure that all job listings are current and accurate.
  • Assist candidates with the application and pre-employment process.
  • Schedule job interviews, working with hiring managers and applicants to ensure mutually agreeable arrangements.
  • Evaluate job candidates utilizing a variety of methods (e.g. reference checks, credential evaluations, background checks, drug and alcohol testing, etc.).
  • Perform drug and alcohol collections and testing as dictated by company policy.
  • Extend employment offers to selected candidates.
  • Communicate rejection to candidates who are not selected for employment.
  • Ensure compliance with Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel employment policies, including equal opportunity, drugs and alcohol, Native American preference, immigration, compact and reemployment.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter all applicable candidate information into Paycom.
  • Ensure all required forms and documents are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist employees with employment-related concerns and Paycom issues.
  • Provide employment reports to the Director of Human Resources in a timely manner.
  • Crosstrain with, and provide backup support to, the Recruiting and Training Coordinators.
  • Work closely with all Human Resources staff members to ensure an accurate and efficient workflow.
  • Assist with managing and tracking uniform inventory and distribution.
  • Assist with planning, preparing and executing employee events.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business experience required, ideally in Human Resources.
  • Experience in employment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Highly professional and tactful.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Desire to promote the Lower Sioux Indian Community and its members.
