Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Director, Human Resource (Regional HQ) to manage all HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Work with Director, HR to implement company policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to these policies.
  • Based on Regional HQ guidelines, carry out year-end performance management process and prepare all documents and letters related to salary increase and bonus.
  • Work closely with hiring manager to source and recruit suitable candidates. Manage new hire process including pre-employment medical check-up, work pass application (if any) and onboarding process.
  • Handle payroll processing via payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Manage all statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and any other payments. Manage yearly EA forms are sent to employees for their tax filing.
  • Administer employee benefits and insurance plans, and assist employees on claims.
  • Manage employee training and development programs, while taking into consideration HRDF usage.
  • Manage employee relations and communication. Work closely with managers and employees, to create a collaborative work environment. Any grievance must be handled with compassion and thorough investigation, and managed according to local laws.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree with at least 3 years of experience in HR and payroll.
  • Familiar with Malaysia employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate/write well in English and Malay.
  • Positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour.
