Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • PHR/SHRM-CP and/or aPHR certification is desired but needs to be obtained within one year of hire.
  • At least two years of HR specialist, recruiting, benefit, or generalist experience.
  • At least two years of experience working in a client partner-facing role is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience working in a position is required to understand and apply Federal & Colorado employment law.
  • Skills to identify compliance concerns and risks and relate best-practice information to others.
  • Proficient understanding of basic principles in human resources and how to apply them in specific situations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.
  • Hands-on experience working with vendors and implementing HRIS, Payroll, Benefits Administration, or ATS technology tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and task prioritization.
  • Office skills include strong typing/keyboarding and using basic office machines.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook) are required.
  • Prior ClickUp or similar project management software skills are highly desired.
  • General computer technical understanding and troubleshooting are helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Sr. HR Generalist on day-to-day client project management and may occasionally support hourly clients by assessing and responding to high-level human resources issues, including employee misconduct, harassment, and discrimination investigations, by understanding compliance requirements and client business needs and services.
  • Assist in producing and reviewing compensation and benefits administration, employee development, training, and performance management with clients.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Generalist to support developing and implementing employee life cycle (talent acquisition, onboarding, management, and offboarding strategies).
  • Assist in assessing and helping leaders and managers understand and administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs necessary for the client’s business success
