Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimally Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of HR experience
  • History of employee benefits administration
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems (e.g., HRIS) is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

Cunningham Restaurant Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of Human Resources within the dynamic and fast-paced restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of benefits administration, while also being versatile across HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, training, and compliance. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefits. Provide support for employee inquiries and ensure timely and accurate enrollment and communication.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters. Support conflict resolution, employee performance issues, and disciplinary processes.
  • Training & Development: Support training initiatives by coordinating workshops and employee development programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills for success.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze HR data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with our company values of customer service excellence, teamwork, and employee development.
