Description:
DATTCO has an opening for a full-time HR Generalist in New Britain, CT. This is a full-time, on-site position and remote work is not available.

Primary Responsibilities
- Employee orientations
- Open enrollment
- Heavy data entry
- Effectively answer routine phone calls, mail and fax inquiries
- Tracking of required documents
- Correspondence to employees about benefit eligibility
- Providing clerical and administrative support
- Participate in outings with vendors as needed
- Leave management (FMLA Federal and State Regulations) tracking and data entry
- Hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday (overtime may be required occasionally based on business needs)
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years benefits experience (high deductible plans, flex spending, HRA, etc.)
- Human resource generalist knowledge (i.e., FMLA, LOA, ACA)
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Valid CT driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel & HRIS
- Self-motivated
- Detail-orientated
- Ability to work within time constraints
- Be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
