Title: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Radnor, PA
This is a mid-level individual contributor position that partners with client groups to execute various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training and development, payroll support, and compensation to ensure that HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented throughout the Company. Position works under limited supervision.
Compensation
- Assist in the development of compensation analysis.
- Ensure we maintain competitive and cost-effective compensation policies and practices.
- Develop and maintain data on current compensation levels, job descriptions, salary structures and incentive programs.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resource law, principles, and best practices that relate to recruitment, payroll, compensation, employee relations, leave management, performance management and training and development.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience with various aspects of Human Resources including recruiting and on-boarding programs.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking, HRIS, payroll and time and attendance systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook .Ability to maintain confidentiality, work productively, and professionally in a team environment.
- Demonstrated effective planning and time management skills.
- Applies analytical techniques to resolve problems and uses results to make appropriate decisions.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills
Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Prepare requisitions and offer materials for all new exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Post open positions to internal and external websites and maintain the company’s ATS
- Facilitate background checks, drug screening, and monitor results.
Information Data Management
- Perform the accurate and timely processing of personnel changes ensuring the integrity of all HR data.
- Provide support for the payroll, time & attendance processes, and systems
- Provide reports and analysis of information
- Assist in performing audits as needed.
Employee Relations
- Handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Provide support with leave of absences, performance management, assist in employee counseling, disciplinary issues, and the development of performance documents.
- Consult with line management, provide HR guidance when appropriate.
Compliance
- Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide clarification to employees and managers on policies and procedures covering terms and conditions of employment, advise on new and forthcoming employment legislation.
- Assist in the completion of audits and/or compliance reporting.
Training and Development
- Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews and other relevant training sessions.
- Support employee development plans and help develop and monitor career path programs.
