Job Description

IN A NUTSHELL:

We are looking for an individual to provide Human Resource leadership and support for the Eurofins Environment Testing Ireland Team. Individual must be hands on and practical, and able to work with the wider team to achieve their goals. Responsibilities range from essential administration tasks including payroll, to improving retention, employee welfare and satisfaction, and recruiting and retaining top talent.
This is a part time role, nominally 3 days per week, with flexibility to work equivalent hours across 5 days.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organising and managing recruitment needs and successful onboarding of new starters
  • Performing transactional administration e.g. promotions, probationary period reviews.
  • Monitoring compliance of HR processes with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating with managers and employees regularly to give HR support and establish rapport, gauge morale, and proactively address HR needs to improve retention and reduce attrition.
  • Facilitating consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Leading Payroll process to facilitate correct payments of wages.
  • Maintaining, streamlining and improving HR systems.
  • Working closely with HR colleagues across Eurofins to identify and implement best practices

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A third level qualification in HRM or a related subject is required (CIPD).
  • Minimum of 2 years prior HR experience
