Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist/Office Manager to join our team in Budapest. This dual role is crucial for providing HR support while maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, have excellent communication skills, and be able to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience as an HR professional
Comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workforce
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Background in IT industry
Organizational, multitasking, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Language level
English – Upper-Intermediate
Hungarian – Fluent
Responsibilities
Administer HR plans, policies, and procedures
Maintain and update accurate, confidential employee records
Manage complete and up-to-date physical and digital employee files
Track employee attendance and time-off requests
Oversee onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees
Create and manage employment contracts and documents
Maintain HR information systems and compile reports
Handle employee relations, counseling, conflicts, and exit interviews
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Support and verify timekeeping information for payroll processing
Assist with payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Keep company policies updated and compliant with labor laws
Conduct audits for compliance with internal and external requirements
Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries and issues
Support HR initiatives to improve engagement and satisfaction
Promote a safe, healthy work environment and develop wellness programs
Oversee performance management processes and assist with improvement plans
Collaborate with other departments to align HR practices with goals
Oversee daily office operations and manage office supplies
Plan company events, activities and resolve office-related inquiries
Coordinate with IT to resolve technical issues
