Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Elizabeth/Woodbridge, NJ. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ADP Workforce Now, benefits administration, recruiting, payroll and employee relations. As an integral member of our HR team, you will work directly under the Director of Human Resources and collaborate with other HR Generalists to support our workforce and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll, timekeeping, and HR data effectively.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with vendors.
  • Lead the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending job offers.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational goals and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience with a focus on ADP Workforce Now, benefits administration, recruiting, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
