BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of generalist HR experience, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian employment and labour law, and experience in its practical application.

  • Build strong working relationships across the Brussels office and wider European teams to deliver comprehensive HR business partnering support.
  • Ensure compliance with Belgian labour law, including FLA reporting, liaison with Works Councils and CPPT committees, and managing employee contracts, plus addendums.
  • Support HR efforts on onboarding and offboarding, collaborating with colleagues on induction programs, and conducting regular reviews of exit interviews and attrition data to provide feedback to HR leadership and business leaders.
  • Manage all leave-related processes for Belgian employees, including maternity/paternity/adoption and shared parental leave and annual leave reporting.
  • Support global HR initiatives such as performance reviews, compensation reviews, and goal setting.
  • Analyse HR data to address operational issues, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and pay increases.
  • Oversee Belgium-related projects, including compliance, legislative matters, and change management.
  • Assist in the development of people manager upskilling initiatives.
  • Support the HR leadership team in implementing strategic HR initiatives and projects across European offices.
