Description:
This role will be based at Lauda Europe’s operational support hub in Schwechat, Vienna. The HR Generalist will report directly to the General Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to hit the ground running and progress in their HR career.
The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR topics and administration. At Lauda you will gain vast experience very early in your career with tasks such as;
- Assisting the entire HR function for 350+ employees in your given base.
- Liaising and supporting management on all HR related matters, ranging from general queries, grievances, disciplinary investigations and legal case preparations etc.
- Maintain the HR databases (SAP) to ensure all files and systems are up to date and accurate.
- Weekly reporting to the General Manager on all HR open topics in your area.
- Preparing memos, letters, contracts and general HR admin.
- Travelling across Europe to meet with employees on general employment matters.
- Ad hoc HR projects and tasks.
- Good knowledge of business and HR models to answer daily employee queries and make informed decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must hold the right to work & live in the EU.
- HR / Business degree or masters.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (C1+ or native speaker).
- Strong organisational & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing skills i.e. ability to compose letters.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work on own initiative
- Flexibility and availability to travel.
- PC Skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power point etc).
- And finally, you must be a team player with a good sense of humour!
