JOB SUMMARY:

As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations of our HR department, overseeing key areas such as recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and training programs. Youll collaborate with hiring managers, work closely with the HR Director, and support the development of employees within the organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Three (3)+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or within a team.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move across campus for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages job postings on platforms like Paycom, Carney, Southern, and FCIS.
  • Guides hiring managers through the recruitment cycle, ensuring equitable hiring practices.
  • Coordinates onboarding processes, including fingerprinting for employees/vendors and new hire orientation.
  • Designs and implement employee development and training programs to foster career growth.
  • Conducts exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee experience.
  • Maintains HR records and generate reports from our HR system.
  • Serves as a backup for payroll processing and manage payment reconciliations.
  • Assists with employee relations, investigate complaints, and offer conflict resolution support.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborates on updating policies and procedures and assist with job description revisions.
