Description:

Provides administrative support in functional areas of Admin Services and Human Resources.
Essential Functions:
1.
Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Includes daily mailings of all departmental requests including daily print, marketing project mailing and any specialized mailing. Provides photocopy service to all entities. Responsible for the imaging process.
2.
Responsible for assisting and supporting various NCMIC Group events including but not limited to NCMIC Charitable Events, NCMIC Wellness Events, NCMIC Social Events, NCMIC Employee Retreat, UW Week and others. Serve on Culture Committee and DEI Committee.
3.
Provides general support related to all Human Resources functions as needed.
4.
Serves as HR office reception and coordinates HR office needs/organization
5.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Four-year college degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Human Resources designations such as SHRM-CP, SHRM –SCP, PHR, or SPHR are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of human resources-related experience/ office management experience / communications experience / event management experience preferred.
Skills : Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills are essential. Strong project management skills and the ability to think strategically and critically. Strong analytical and attention to detail skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office products as well as HR Information System.
Mental Demands: Must be able to interpret data, problem-solve and have the ability to lead projects with little supervision. Must have the ability to focus on task for extended periods of time. Must be flexible and have the ability to work with a variety of tasks and employees. Ability to plan, organize, strategize, and effectively communicate required.
Physical Demands: Continuous sitting for extended periods of time, some standing, walking, bending and reaching. Frequent use of fingers and hands to manipulate computer, telephone and other office equipment.
