Description:
The New Hope-Solebury School District (NHSD) is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and skilled in problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years of HR experience (generalist preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred).
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system.
- Organize and manage the HR filing system, including archiving and documentation.
- Process employment verifications with employee consent.
- Prepare reports and monitor key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, diversity).
- Manage FMLA and Income Protection leave requests, including documentation.
- Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEOC, Title IX, and labor laws.
- Act as Certifying Officer for the Department of Education TIMS system.
- Administer the SafeSchools online training platform and ensure training compliance.
- Respond to unemployment claims and inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Work with the Director of HR and partners to resolve claim-related issues.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate job postings, interview packets, and employment agreements.
- Support employee orientation, training, and separation procedures.
- Serve as system administrator for PAF tracking and processing.
- Manage tuition reimbursement and educational attainment processes.
- Submit purchase order requests for approved reimbursements.
- Collaborate with payroll to resolve pay, deductions, and benefits issues.
- Manage teacher loan forgiveness applications and salary adjustments.
- Foster a positive culture through employee engagement activities.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Provide administrative support and visitor guidance.
- Other job related task as assigned
