Description:

The New Hope-Solebury School District (NHSD) is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and skilled in problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years of HR experience (generalist preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred).
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system.
  • Organize and manage the HR filing system, including archiving and documentation.
  • Process employment verifications with employee consent.
  • Prepare reports and monitor key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, diversity).
  • Manage FMLA and Income Protection leave requests, including documentation.
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEOC, Title IX, and labor laws.
  • Act as Certifying Officer for the Department of Education TIMS system.
  • Administer the SafeSchools online training platform and ensure training compliance.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Work with the Director of HR and partners to resolve claim-related issues.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate job postings, interview packets, and employment agreements.
  • Support employee orientation, training, and separation procedures.
  • Serve as system administrator for PAF tracking and processing.
  • Manage tuition reimbursement and educational attainment processes.
  • Submit purchase order requests for approved reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with payroll to resolve pay, deductions, and benefits issues.
  • Manage teacher loan forgiveness applications and salary adjustments.
  • Foster a positive culture through employee engagement activities.
  • Support workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support and visitor guidance.
  • Other job related task as assigned
