Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREIENCE:
- Diploma in a relevant HR Discipline or working towards an HR/CIPD qualification.
- At least two years of relevant experience within a busy HR environment
- Strong knowledge of HR Best Practice processes and procedures
- Knowledge of Time and Attendance Systems
- Good numerical skills
- Fluent English
- Good decision maker

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Human Resources Generalist supports the HR Team in the implementation and delivery of the following HR activities: the development and administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programmes, Human Resource Information Systems (eCentral and TMS), employee relations, learning and development, recruitment and selection, organisational development, and HR advisory services.

- Support the HR Representatives by working on minor issues throughout all stages of the employee life cycle, ensuring advice is legally compliant and in line with company policy & procedure.
- Partner with HR Representatives to ensure that HR policies and practices are rolled out on ECentral and that the depository of Policies and procedures is kept up to date by attending seminars and being proactive in sharing this knowledge gained to the HR Team.
- Ensure performance management practices are adhered to and carried out consistently and fairly. Check in with managers on probations and escalate any issues to the HR Representative.
- Support the HR Representatives in the design and delivery of in-house management training programmes.
- Support the HR admin on tasks such as TMS, updating E-Central and any additional administrative tasks.
- Responsible for ensuring COEs are issued in a timely manner, templates are updated in line with current legislation, and following up with managers plus the HR team on any issues attached to them.
- Support the HR Team in advising line management in the effective operation of the performance management process and contribute to the identification of appropriate development and skills training programmes.
- Support the HR Team all areas of reward and benefits including participation in relevant salary surveys, ensuring competitiveness in the facilities market and alignment to Apleona’s strategy and business goals.
- Build on and work closely with external support resources in the delivery of best practice HR processes and compliance.
- Work with the HR Representative on enhancing the employee experience through HR initiatives that drive sustainable engagement with a focus on inclusion & diversity in the workplace.
- Contribute towards the integration and maintenance of the company’s systems such as TMS and E-Central. Where necessary, support through training.
- Report on metrics across the business as required from absenteeism, FTCs, Retirement, annual leave, WRCs, disciplinaries and grievances. Where applicable link in with EHS.
- Support the HR Representatives with the Tupe process.
- Liaise with the HR Representatives on welfare issues and arrange any Medmark reviews.
- Support the HR Representatives in all aspects of Employee Relations, including note-taking, minute preparation, drafting scrips and letters for managers.
- Support the HR Team in any group projects or activities.
- Any other duties as may be required.
