Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
- 3+ years of experience in HR advising, preferably with external clients
- Demonstrated ability to distill information and communicate effectively with clients, resolving issues and giving advice in a concise manner
- A track record of identifying and resolving HR compliance challenges
- Proficiency in creating clear and effective policies including employee handbooks and job descriptions
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization and with clients
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled in HRIS, other HR platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed, although infrequent (up to 10%)
BONUS SKILLS:
- Experience with the agriculture sector and H-2A workers
- Proficiency in UKG Ready
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to HR advisor for our clients by conducting weekly meetings, understanding their unique needs, and facilitating problem resolution across various products
- Audit key HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, personnel files, documentation and employee changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and update HR documentation by:
- Creating, editing, and delivering employee handbooks to clients ensuring compliance with current law and aligning with client culture
- Assisting managers in developing compliant job descriptions that align with client goals and culture
- Creating and developing internal documents and policies to be used in the HR library
- Champion HR compliance by:
- Staying up to date with all employee-related legislative and regulatory changes and integrating these updates into HR policies and practices
- Researching changes in laws and regulations to assess their impact on the organization and communicate these findings to both the team and clients
- Collaborating with the HR Business Partner in delivering compliance programs and training to internal stakeholders and clients
